Default Ice Blue WRX

hello again

As you guys would know (from the introduction thread) I have just bought a 2004 WRX
I thought I would take delivery of it today, unfortunately they wont release it until funds are in the bank and wont accept reciept of payment through EFT (bugger) hopefully it goes through tomorrow

I was told when i test drove this ICE BLUE model that there were only 500 of this colour made, at the time I thought it was sales pitch but carrying out a search today on good ol' google learnt that this was true
Now...is this the WR1 model they speak of, with PPP (prodrive performance pack) and DCCD (ddriver controlled centre diff)

Shall keep you all updated or vice versa

Taff

WR1 sure is a hot looking car, doubt the one your looking at would be one however:

"The WR1 isn't going to make its way to Australia - at least not through official channels - because it's essentially a Prodrive special edition built for the UK market, where rallying is considerably more popular"
http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring...subaru-wr1.htm

good luck with your purchase

Definitely not a WR1 you've just bought which is a UK special STi release model but
a stock run of the mill 05 WRX in a one off colour that is not a special edition of any
kind.

However its still a good car and hope you enjoy it in ever way.

I saw these in when they came out at the end of 04 when the new 05
spec was released I remember as the mrs wanted this but I wasn't having
a bar of it I wanted silver.

This is the colour here yeah?
