Default Thinking of putting a turbo in an impreza r

Hey guys/chicks!

As you might know already i know bugger all about this sort of stuff (but willing to learn ) and sorry if there is already a thread like this!

As the title says i am thinking of putting a turbo in my impreza r. Does anyone have any advice on whether i should or not with all your experience? Some people have told me that i would have to change a lot in the engine and not worth it. is this true?

Thanks
Jenna

Waste of money.. you'll spend lots of dollars and it still won't be as quick as a stock WRX.

Yeah I wouldn't do it Jenna..

I toyed with the idea in my 06 impreza, then I thought about doing a WRX conversion on it... end of the day, I sold it and bought an 02 sti. It was just cheaper...

Just enjoy fuel economy, cheap insurance for now, then move on to a WRX when you are ready.
