Exclamation Unsure of warning light

Hey,

ive got a 98 wrx and i noticed today a light on the left side of the dash and i have no idea its meaning.

its a rectangle with 2 lines coming out either side and 4 wavy lines above it.

does anyone know what this means is wrong?

Not your electric heater for the rear window is it?

would the heater have to be on for that to come on? its not the icon to turn the rear heating on though no. ill draw it.

Not 100% sure Dude But if ya look in ya owner's manual
im sure there will be some info on the light you are seeing...!

All else fail's and you are concerned consult a SUBARU SPECALIST..!

when you say left side of the dash, do you mean the left side of the cluster panel where the other warning lights are? i just had a look in my owners manual (MY00) and it doesnt show any warning light like that

yeah the panel of lights to the left, i dont have a manual
ill have to take it to the mechanic. i just wanna know if it will make it there without severe damage.

I'd hazard a guess and say its the cat converter sender. However I wasn't aware the GC's had them.
