What should i do..? With me car?
Hey Guys and Gals,
As alot of you already know my GF8 Wagon's motor is on it's last legs.! Now i have a few decions to make and hoping you guys can help me lean in the wright direction.!  I either - Drop a 207 in it with all the fruit and suspension mods ect. - Do a Conversion with a jap Half cut. Or sell it and upgrade? What do you guys recon?  Cheers Andrew

Buy a 2003 Jap STI Front cut and drop all of it in. Plated R180, DCCD 6 speed, Brembos and Twinscroll 207
 Part out what ever is left over.

Keep it and drop a 207 into it along with a 6 speed and some light weight jap rims and then drive it imho.

Depends if you actually have any $$s... Unless you've got some savings put away, and a spare car for the time it will be off the road, I would say you're better off selling and buying a real WRX/STi!
That said, if you have the $$s, and the time, a GD STi running gear conversion will definitely be the business!

nothing worse than starting a project and realising afterwards that A you don't have enough funds to complete it, or, B you're back onto public transport in the meantime..however long that may be for

V3/4/5/6 STI front cut, you'll get a good strong motor, 4.44 box, 4 pots, etc.etc. & a high 12sec car that will give you close to 600k per tank around town with just breathing mods, you'll also get some money back on the left overs + it's probably the easiest & quickest option.
