If a job,s worth doing its worth doing right.Re the get a bike comments i have a drz 400 for pissing around on in the bush, i used to have a Fireblade back in Ireland but there is no way i would have a road bike over here as 80% of drivers over here are in a trance when driving and skippy dosen,t know the highway code!!!!

quick question...

will you be intending using the car for purely track/fun purposes or preferrably registered for daily use?

ps...still messing with the old PC, i'm determined to make it work again (=

I really would like to have it as a daily drive if possible, because i am prepared to throw a lot of money at it to do a really good build i feel its pointless to spend shitloads and not have full rego.

Do the Stratos replica.
Certainly one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
There is a procedure to follow when building an 'individually construced vehicle' as they call them now. I think the term 'kit car' is outdated. A friend of mine recently licensed a GT40 Ford replica that took about 4 years to build. It's absolutely magnificent, had to jump through a few hoops but nothing a wad of money can't fix.
I'd love to do a Stratos rally car replica with the Alitalia colours and Campagnolo wheels etc. Porn!
