Well Just a quick message to say that my car has now got a new owner. I have to say that i was very sad to see it go but i am really glad that the new owners really appreciate what they have got.To all the people on the forum thanks for the comments (even the stupid ones).I dont know how i am going to replace this car as it was so special but all i will say is i have a few ideas running aroud in my head so who knows. If anyone has any ideas as to what i should get next i would be interested to hear them.

I drove the first one that arrived in Ireland back in 1999 and promised myself that one day i would one then i came across #11 by accident, remortaged the house to buy it and the rest is history. They are an awesome car to drive and i have been Quite lucky to drive some brilliant cars but with this one it was simply too good to drive on a regular basis!!!!! Every time i took it out i was crapping myself for fear of it getting damaged!!!! I firmly believe that you need to scare the shit out of yourself at least once a week if you want to feel alive so therefore i am looking for a new toy to do this with.I might be getting old on the outside but still 18 on the inside if you know what i mean!!!!

I have one of the cars you mentioned on your list coming Daz but its damaged and i have only bought it to give me something to do over winter (apart from abusing myself!!!) I want a daily driver and have test driven a new STI but it dosen,t do it for me! After watching the Lancia Stratos on Top Gear i really have the hots to build one of these but there are a couple of problems with this.

Firstly being originally From Ireland im not familiar with all the regs that come with building a Kit car in Oz and don,t know where to Start!! Doing Kit cars in the UK is heaps easier so i think it might be one for the too hard basket.Secondly i would Like to build it as close to a genuine Stratos as Possible so getting a good 3.0v6 Ferrari motor and all the other bits i would need isn,t going to be easy.Again if anyone on the forum can help with this let me know.Getting the Hawk kit from the UK is easy but getting everything
sorted to build it and register it for Aussie roads THATS THE TRICKY BIT!!!
