Most definitely an impressive car. When we were over in Sydney a few months back for Top Gear Live my mate who lives there had just bought a C63 and had a few mods done to bring it up to just under 500kw and this thing was absolutely nuts. Grip (for a RWD) was phenomenal and combined with his psycho driving (airport to city in peak hour in 10 mins for example) made me want one of those cars a lot - so much so that I almost bought one for a "company car"

After watching the Lancia Stratos on Top Gear i really have the hots to build one of these but there are a couple of problems with this.

Firstly being originally From Ireland im not familiar with all the regs that come with building a Kit car in Oz and don,t know where to Start!! Doing Kit cars in the UK is heaps easier so i think it might be one for the too hard basket.Secondly i would Like to build it as close to a genuine Stratos as Possible so getting a good 3.0v6 Ferrari motor and all the other bits i would need isn,t going to be easy.Again if anyone on the forum can help with this let me know.Getting the Hawk kit from the UK is easy but getting everything
sorted to build it and register it for Aussie roads THATS THE TRICKY BIT!!!
The Stratos would be a good unique toy. The red ones a Perth car and the blue one was a Melbourne car, from a few years ago.

anyone who carries around a cordless electric shaver and uses it at random times (eg pwrx track day whilst under the bonnet of his car!) MUST be in the p0rn industry.
