Default 245/45/17 tyres

Hi Guys,

Another stupid question (but hey if i don't ask then i will never know lol) but does anyone know if 245 series tyres would fit under a betty hatch?

I know they come with 225's but hoping to get some wider rubber under it!

What wheels have you got on there?

If its the standard 7 inch wide wheels 225 is the widest I'd go.

oh and i should mention that it has a set of proflex coilovers so i am not sure it that will give more or less clearence but will base it off the standard and if need be space it a little!

coilovers will help in that the higher spring rates will help keep the tyres off the guards... 8.5" would be a good choice for a 245

as for fitment mainly depends on the offset of the wheels and camber

you should be able to fit 245's on depending on your rim... 8' or 8.5" min i think.
