Default Nos

I have been looking into a nos sys for my rex. I want to know if it is true that you can run it from a almost standard engin, without doing damage. I was told that a 50-60 hp shot would go straight on my engin without causing any damage. IS THIS TRUE

Thanks

From what I have read & heard I believe this to be true
so long as it is set up & tuned properly on a dyno

I already have my kit & will set it up for 75hp on a NA EJ20
(just waiting for inspectio & rego first)

<edit>
Oh, and of course the normal rules apply:
- never in first
- never below 3,000rpm
- only at WOT

For an NA EJ20, yeah not a bad idea...have a bit of fun with it, make it go as hard as a WRX, etc etc..

With a WRX, waste of time....for the cost of a PROPERLY setup 50-60HP Nitrous wet system, you can shop around and buy an ECU, Turbo, etc...and have it make the same sort of power without having to resort to running nitrous.

Its not NOS by the way, NOS is a brand. Nitrous Oxide is the proper term

Yes.. and Nitrous Oxide Systems is the brand name used by Holley...

Nitrous Oxide is the chemical component you're interested in, there's plenty of people that supply kits to inject it.

Try Xspeed, Speedworks, RMS they should be able to source the kit and install/tune for you. and yes you can run 50hp shot on a standard engine, provided it is installed CORRECTLY and PROFESSIONALY.
