So you know the inside story I take it.
Fill us all in to stop the speculation please.

I'd say probably a case of knowing the road but not been down it since the roundabout was installed, bit of welly, bit of inattention & bit of panic but who knows, lets just hope he makes a full recovery for him and his family's sake.

sure i've made mistakes on the road, had accidents in the past, please point out where i said i didn't

unfortunately nothing said on here is going to help the guy, his life is clearly in the hands of doctors right now
LOL... Where did I say he wasn't driving wrecklessly? Where did I say I have any further information on the incident than is written in the article? All I said was that your original comment, which made assumptions on how the crash occurred, and then went on to abuse the driver, was not appropriate!? Especially given that the driver and people close to him may be members on here, and deserve sympathy whether he was completely responsible for the accident or not?

Again, assuming more than you know about the incident? And I doubt that there is anyone on here that hasn't tried to take a roundabout a little quicker than perhaps they should...

There is no need for abuse and negative comments on this thread? Whether the driver is solely responsible and did something stupid or not.

.
There is nothing wrong with speculating. An awd car was completely totalled in a 50km/hr zone. It doesn't take Stephen Hawkings to figure out the guy was probably speeding. And yeah I've driven fast through roundabouts etc and I don't know how an R32 compares to a GC8, but my R32 sticks to the road like glue, it makes retard drivers like me look good. The guy was caning it, in a 50, period. If I've ever driven like that it wouldn't have been in a 50 & it wouldn't have been in suburbia.

You do realise they probably had to cut the roof off, making it look 100 times worse?

Thats true! Did they drag it a hundred meters up the road through peoples houses to?

Sad to see a sight like that. Guy was clearly speeding. I hope he wasnt doing it deliberatly though. Maybe he fell asleep and hit the loud pedal. Easily done at 6am. That said, if he had have hurt innocent people then i would be angry if he was deliberatly speeding.

AWD + DIESEL spill + damp roads + half asleep = big off.

P.s How would an R32 look if you dropped a house on it?

I would like to see how much damage is caused from driving in to a house at 50km/hr.
I don't think it would buff out.

haha go out side and do 50kms/h. Then smash the brakes. You will stop very quickly! Now look at the pics of the skid marks from the article.

I agree... No problem with speculation, as long as its objective!... But abusing someone based upon that speculation is not neccessary IMO...
