Default how much should i sell

hey guys two weeks ago i bought a brand new standard 03 wrx bov from subaru, then realised i couldnt get an adaptor to bolt it on so now im stuck with a brand new still in original box wrx bov... what price you think i should sell it at as subaru wont give me a refund on it??

basically i made a mistake by buying the standard wrx bov which is a bolt on and the aftermarket intake i have is a clamp on... had a sard r2d2 bov then i bought the standard bov, once that didnt work i now have a turbosmart plumback bov...

Tried taking it back, there's a high chance they'll only give you a credit note, but maybe get some floor mats, dash cover or other bits-n-pieces?

S'always a buyers market when it comes to sale price. Being new will add to your favour a bit.

nope i tried and they were just like nope sorry no can do... man that thing cost me an arm and a leg at subarus rrp price...

I have no doubt mate, anything with a car company logo on it usually attracts around 400% mark up.

I'm just going off what I've seen in the for sale thread(s).

Protip from the consumer level: Have a valid reason for the exchange, you're dealing with one of the most full of shit markets when it comes to car sales.

did the part have to be ordered from ex-east or japan??
if so thats the reason as to why they wont take it back, as it will be left in stock for god knows how long...
