hey guys i been thinking i want to lower my 03 rex, its currently at standard height what gear would i need and an estimated price.. ide preferably want to still have it legal as i can be bothered with the cops?? also rota rims, anyone know where they are sold in perth?

I dont know the cost of getting a car lowered as ive had the work done by a friend in the past but a set of springs should cost about $250 maybe 150 to have them fitted by someone.

Was something that i though was worth doing my peanut was dropped about 32mm at the rear and 37 at the front (or vice verca was long time ago) and it looked mint with stock rims!

i'm thinking of lowering my99. change from 17 inch speedy 7's to 18 inch rims, i think 17 inch look to small and lower car with adjustable coilovers. i think starting price for coilovers $1000 probably $1300 plus install.

What coilovers are these 1k specials you speak of?

Personally... I'd get HSD's from Joe (BALISTC) or one of the specials Ultrex has and Rota's from ... fcuk i can't think of the places name... mental blank! It's south of the river... someone else will fill in the gaps..

you can get bc adjustable coilovers br series for $1300 from ebay not sure how good they are. but hsd coilovers sound alright and fairly cheap.
