Kando is always good and hopefully it will be sorted quickly, nothing to do with eBay, I got a turbo from New Zealand that had the exact same thing happen....

The issue is it should have been checked before it was shipped, the box is fine so it must have been packed already damaged!!

The turbo does look well put together, just have to wait a bit longer

the wall on the intake looks quite fragile/thin , obviously would have taken quite a bit of meat out to get high flow, be careful you don't over tighten it when you get your replacement to install

quality of the wheel looks up there with the best

i apologise,
it just had to be said, given that ebay is an easily accessible medium for a fair amount of dodgy sellers.

i'm sure kando are usually quite good and this is an uncommon occurrence
:)

when i got my VF48 from gruppe-s the oil drain had poked its way through the bottom of the box!

Got the replacement turbo today, you wouldn't fuckin believe it but the compressor housing is in the wrong position, have a look at the photo.

I'm over this, is this an easy job to rotate to the correct position??

The oil feed and water feed holes are wrong too, it's like the whole cartridge needs to be rotated.

Should just be a few bolts and then twist to the right spot.
