^^^^

I dislike number plates put like that dont see the point at all.. And imo even if it does obstruct a FMIC it wont have a huge effect on the street.. And on the track u remove the plate in anycase..

danielhub1 19-10-2010 08:03 PM

yep thats true
but i dont have a front mount but anyway i like it
and on the track quicker to take off too

danielhub1 19-10-2010 08:04 PM

oh and if i wanted to move the number plate more so its out of the way i just make up a new bracket

I think your bonnet has a dent in it.

If you insist on having an offset number plate I would recommend-

removing the fog lights and putting the number plate on the passengers side,

and run a cold air duct from the driver's side fog light surround up to the airbox where the resonator usually connects.

lol i know my bonnet has a dent in it actuly more than one

yea but then i have to cut up the bumper

REXXXED 19-10-2010 10:38 PM

Dislike... And as Tino said it's pointless (especially being that you don't have a FMIC). But each to there own I guess, if you like it, then that should be all that matters!

May I suggest that judging by the dents in your bonnet and the lack of headlights you have slightly more urgent cosmetic enhancements to consider before a custom, radical and hip new number plate position?

Oh, and the Impreza is the beautiful princess of the AWD kingdom, her beauty comes from her symmetry and as such the number plate should always be mounted in the centre. The Evo is the evil, disfigured dark knight of the AWD kingdom and although powerful he is only made more ferocious by his wild looks, hence the vortex generators, aggressive eyes and of course his offset number plate.....don't taint the princesses good looks!! ;)

Buy an Evo and stop trying so hard.

Brent.
