Default 2005 my06?

Hi all (first post here )

I am in the Market for a WRX and have seen a few for Sale that are listed as 2005 MY06 Impreza WRX. The aesthetics look the same as a normal 2006 model, but was wanting to know if there are any differences between one actually manufactered in 2006 or other things that i should know?

Listings have them as the 2.5L so i am presuming the engine is the same as the 2006.

Thankyou

New models usually come out in September/Octoboer the year before.

Apart from the date on the compliance plate, there is no difference

Actually, sometimes there is a difference. 2006 MY07s didnt have the MP3 player.

Year of Manufacture is not indicative of the model; 'Model Year' is (MYxx).
