Towbars
Hi Guys,
I want to get a towbar fitted to my 98 wrx wagon, I currently have a 3" exhaust all the way through and I have been told that they can't work around the exhaust. Has anyone on here had a similar problem and if so how did u get around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers |

The tow bar should fit up under the bumper, I've got a Parkside one on my wagon & it has a built in indentation where the exhaust is, also got one on my Liberty with a Butler 3" system.

I have a 3" TBE on my MY99 sedan. STechnic fitted it, and they just 'modified' (aka bent) the hangars on the muffler. Works fine. Before this I had a big cannon muffler and that was okay too.
The wife has an MY99 hatch + towbar also with a cannon-ish muffler. That fits too, ditto on STechnic and bending the hangars.
