Im looking at the possibility of getting a car body part shipped over from the US, but the only way I seem to be able to do it is via a company that provides US forwarding addresses (ie. the item(s) get sent to them, and they send it out to you)
The forwarding company is called Bongo International, anyone heard of it?

Failing that, anyone know of a site that sells Liberty/Legacy body parts and ship to Australia? As the prices here are beyond stupid and I want new, not used.

Pretty popular way of doing things these days as you have an addy in the States cos many companies won't send overseas, google them, seem pretty genuine.

Gotta agree with Wayne, why go through the hassle of getting parts from the U.S. when there is an established spare's import industry from Japan? Plus I think a new bonnet for a GT is less then $1000 new, unpainted, from Subaru Aus.

US or japan, it doesn't worry me, but I can't find a place that sells them and delivers here from either country.

Last I queried the price of a new bonnet for a GT from subaru aus, it was $1100. The average price online seems to be between $300 - $350.

Dont mess around. Shipping a box that big will be circa $400 and then it will take 3 months to get here, then you have no recourse when it is damaged in transit or the retards send you the wrong one. My vote would be to talk to Rossco on these forums and see what he can get you one for.

Other option would be to get a non genuine one.
