Hey there,

Just wondering if any one has purchased and installed one of these kits on there wrx

You don't want to change their diameter of the intake pipe as this will cause issues with AFM calculation i believe within the ECU. My APS one is 65mm which i believe is the correct diameter for your OEM one.

Marginal gains too - 14hp? Not sure about that.

Sounds cool though coming onto boost. That's about it.

I think of CAI's of more a safety thing to try and grab a bit of cooler air rather than from within the engine bay directly, to stop pinging .. but yeah, it's a debatable topic.

AHH i see!

i just have been reading up on mods an alot of people have mentioned that
they put a TBE,CAI and a retune,

what would u suggest for some mods then?

Search dude.

I did a TBE, Up-Pipe, CAI, pump & Tune and took my MY01 from 120kw to 160, before doing different turbo and injectors.

Make sure you do the up-pipe. Your stock one has something evil in it. (seriously)

my01, my02 WRX's came with a cat in the up-pipe (meow).

If you have an 09 then you're fine, just your name suggests you have an my02.
