yep, go jappy cat back, then a custom dump of your choice, a venturi style being the most effective.

RMS do good reliable work. Most (all?) of their mufflers are made by Butler.
I chose RMS partly for their venturi and splitter design. My impression after RMS did my TBE was performance more than I expected, workmanship good, price very competitive, noise not too bad except for droning in the cabin at mid range engine revs, they said it was due to my special twin tip request. If I was doing it again I would go for the Magnaflow, US made and pricey but VG workmanship. I’m interested in people’s opinions on the Japanese mufflers, and how to reduce droning, I put in dynamat and an extra muffler instead of the resonator.

I drove out of RMS just today with a cat back SS exhaust with cannon muffler. Bit louder than I expected (oval muffler is quieter). But I love it. Workmanship is excellent. Service was excellent (they drove to my office also).

In cabin noise is a little higher than I liked, but I think its just because its a huge difference to the quiet stock system.

Leigh/Alex said its sounds almost the same as a full TBE. I drove around all night, just to keep listening to it. :)

I will go back to RMS.
