Default RMS Exhausts

Hey guys,

Looking at getting a 3" SS Exhaust.

RMS have one for $1750.00

Just wanted to know if anyone else has an RMS one and how it compares to what else is out there.

I have heard a lot of different sounding exhausts aroud the place. Do the RMS ones stack up? Note, Cabin noise etc.

Thanks in advance

Check out "search" as I think this has been asked a few times in exhaust threads.

I'm very happy with my RMS exhaust system. I have the oval muffler on it as I didn't want a really loud muffler, and am happy...its still quite loud but no where near as loud as a cannon. Very nice boxer rumble to it. Cabin noise not too bad, consdering I don't have a resonator.

RMS do a great dump pipe and the rest of the system is excellent. Your choice of final muff will affect the noise but can be quiet if required.

Anything associated with RMS is absolute gold.

I have had a full 3" with up pipe done by RMS and it gave it a great note, a little bit of a performance increase around 2500rpm with standard ecu.. a HUGE increase with the Link installed.

And as we have all come to expect from RMS... 2nd to none service every time!

Right - i just had Rob and the boys at speedworkz fit S/S zorst, with 5" cannon to my 02 Sti on Monday. And fark me....the car is awesome!! Job was done well and i was being a real prick about clearances between the tip and the bumber.....but they sorted it good and she sounds, and performs better than expected-not RMS, but another option..? Good price too ~$1660 fitted.

Oh dear. This thread could degenerate into a slinging match...

Go along to a cruise and look at some on a few cars then ask the owners.
That way you can find something you like the look and sound of, without
opinions getting in the way.

If you don't have time to wait till a cruise and are really keen I know a few
of the people on this forum lap through scarb beach, so just ask if you see
some of them.

Make up your own mind.
