True E85 is good but in proper racing circles you use it for insurance rather than outright grunt. The racing class I use the car in 'Club AWD' requires a complete interior and OEM front seats so its only the rear seats I could take out, and they dont weigh much.
Its always better to rock up in a full weight STi with full interior and beat the stripped out EVOs.... |
If you don't think those seats weigh much, hold them above your head for 10 minutes :)

It seems a little backward to outlaw what is essentially a safety related item such as a proper fixed back racing seat. |
they are a little backwards in SA.....

Speaking of backwards, managed a 5th outright in the Porsche Club Sprints today out of 50 or so cars. Two of our R35 GTR weapons beat me so that only left two Porsches, both 997 GT3 on slicks to get in front of the newly named 'Dirty Destiny'. 6 seconds a lap faster than the next WRX

Freaking awesome results! Unbelievable!

Wow that thing can hussle...
Congrates on an awesome achievement considering the opponets. I mean $60 STi vs $200k porkas... Awesome results... Good to see your keepin them honest over there! |
Here are some genuine results -
http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?17/04/2011.MALL.S1 As you can see we can keep most of the Porsches honest. One or two slick shod caged up GT3s with experienced drivers still get ahead though. Must work on that..... |
excellent work mate, gotta be happy with that
|
Brilliant work!!
