Short shifter
I know this is a fairly easiy job to do, i have got the short shifter and have worked out getting the boot cover etc off, I have removed the big bolt now all i have to do is remove it from the gear box. There is a round ball at the end of the gear sitck which goes into the gear box. How the hell do you get it out and get the other one in?????
Thanks guys and gals |

There's some pictures here if it helps:
http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/viewt...ifter&start=15 I'm pretty sure you just pull it out, and to get the new one in; knock it with a hammer.

It's just a socket, just use leverage and the old gear stick will just pop out of it's socket. Grease up the socket of the new gear stick and then pop it in.

I thought that you folded back the metal tabs, unscrewed the base and then take it off the gear stick and slide your new one over?
