Default Good Spraypainter wanted!!

Just had Adz out from
OCD (has done an awesome job too btw) detailing the liberty and disco,
Unfortunately last week some peanut was spraying white fence paint next door and covered the black disco front qtr and bonnet with overspray.

So does anyone have a recommendation for where to take the car to be rubbed back/papered and new clear coat applied?

No mung beans please it's the wife's car and would need to be done in a day or 2 at most we don't have time for the car to be gone for weeks.

Appreciate any suggestions remember it is a black car so needs to be done well.

If it's just overspray then using a clar bar on the paint can get most of it off. Detailers would be happy to do it for you or you can buy kits from the usual auto shops.

You may need a slightly more aggressive clay though depending how bad the overspray is. I'm sure Adz would point you in the right direction.

I hope following the discovery of the overspray, somehow while painting your side of the fence with brake fluid (for whatever reason) you oversprayed their car.

Adz clay bar'd it and 1000 grit polished but no joy, he thinks it needs to be wet sanded.

Scary - it happened to me with my last Lib (dark green) when my neighbour spray painted his fence.

In the end it took taking off every spray dot by pulling off with a fingernail.

As above. The paint wasn't able to be removed with a citrus wash followed by a fairly aggressive clay bar + a heavy cutting pad and polish. Car is black metallic and as such shows the remnants of everything.

The paint has been sprayed over several surfaces including panels, plastics and lights. It's definitely more than the usual light overspray you would normally get.

It did remove a small portion of the paint but there is still a large amount remaining. It has bonded to the surface incredibly well, I wasnt able to remove with it soaked + fingernail on the plastics and I fear trying to do so would damage the clear on the panels.

I have heard of people using some fairly harsh solvents to remove but may cause more damage than its worth.

I'll speak to a few shops tomorrow and see if there are any other products that will work.
