Default Changing backing gauges

Just a question....The title doesn't do justice, though can you change the gauge unit in your car....as in the unit which has your revs, car temp, speed etc etc??? As I will be chucking a DCCD STI Box in my car and it doesn't have the icons on the unit though the STI unit does...obviously.

Let me know if I am not making sense haha

That picture if refering to what I want

You mean the cluster?

FYI you can't just install a new cluster if you want to read the above.. it's much more complicated than that.

Bit of a hard one mate, when you want to change your cluster you will need a stat deck signed stating the current kilometers of your car with your cluster and stating the kilometers of the new STI cluster, so that when you sell your car in the future you can accurately state the amount of kilometers to the new owner, as it is illegal to change/modify your odo in your car.

Hope this helps, i guess if you want more info, head down the the local cop shop to ask?

So you want to do a 05-07 STI cluster/speedo swap?

Hey guys...yeah lost the words of what I was trying to say, least you guys are clued on haha. I want to change the cluster when I put a 6spd STI box in, though obviously i realise there is the issue with the km travelled, I am sure that I have seen other cars that have had this done, as i have major works planned and am after a high rev limit....I will go and chat to the copshop though is there any other suggestions? As in know anyone else who has done it?
