Hi guys,

How good are they? I'm thinking of getting one. I was told to get a Whistler.

I have look on Ebay and there are quite a few Whistler's for less than $100.
That seems to be a bit cheap.
And would they work with the radars around Perth?

Any thoughts?

alberts was advertising 199 for the beltronics radars.
IMO they are the best long runs, out of the city (aka highway)
plenty of threads on radars but haha

Whistlers suck.

You get what you pay for... $100 RD = cool whistle and light machine.

If you need cheap one with long range Most radar detectors are USA versions. They can not see newest k Radar guns 24.000 ghz. Or some laser guns. You need international firmware Whistlers, Beltronics, Escorts etc.
