Default V6 STi from over east

Hi guys,

Just chasing a bit of advice.

I looking at buying this: Carsales Link

I called a couple of insurance companies, and (apart from shannons) they will only insure it to about $20K. The guy at Shannons even commented on it being way above the normal price of these.

I realise that it has very low kms, but what do you think of the price?

I'm torn, I know these ones are special, but I keep thinking $30k will buy a much newer model.

Cheers

Would say he is asking around $4-5k over what is reasonable. Saying that they are an awsome car (I used to have one) and heaps of fun. Newer one I have now feels totally different being heavier etc.

Guess worst case make him an offer and see what happens.

I bought mine over East also. Only took two days to drive it back here!

Fuel economy (stock) is heaps better than my '07 too.

That is a bit pricey but there cant be too many more out there with 44k on the clock.
Worth the coin if its you dream car but there are a few other nice gc8 STI's kicking around PWRX and REXNET at the moment.
As well as later models as well.

If you want to pay a premium for a car then you are gonna need to be pretty certain your gonna keep it forever.
