Thought id chime in with what seems to be P-wrx's motto "Use the search function"- Honestly, if you check the introductions-Driveway thread you can read what others have done to they're cars and go from there. The performance thread also lists cars/mods and the net HP figures -

A few quick glances around should tell you enough! As for the mods listed, i'd say they are great starting mods although others might knock the verso tune and say get a real ecu. But hey, horses for courses.

It depends on what you're after. This setup will definitely put a smile on your dial but will leave you wanting more after a while if you're like every other enthusiast

Very sensible mods. Helping the car breath better is never a bad thing, as Jaron said, should definately put a smile on your dial without blowing up that shitty EJ257

chuck a td05-20G on there while you are at it. Even on conservative boost levels. 300hp easy.

stay with the stock airbox on an EJ257, could change to K&N panel if you want, get a perrin turbo inlet pipe ...much cheaper and as effective as APS.

all else is a good start.

Ok so everything but the cai is fine.. so what gets more power a panel filter with the turbo inlet pipe or cai with a pod and turbo inlet pipe?

Both the same for your level of mods.
