hi, just wondering how you get the 05 sti top mount to fit in a gc8?
i know you have to make some more brackets up to fit, but the brake fluid container is in the way? just wondering what you do about this?

You can cut it down if you really want to. But I put a remote reservoir from a Hyundai in mine. Or you could get an offset reservoir from a gd wrx/Sti.

Thanks' I meant clutch fluid' once you cut it down' how the hell do you secure it down

lol, you cut the bottom off it & clamp it back on, the top remains to screw the cap onto

What year GC8?

It is really only plug and play for 99/00. It won't fit on a MY98 without serious modification.

Im going to be fitting one to a 97 wrx in the next month or two, cant see it being any harder than a 99/00 wrx.

You'll notice the BOV section of the TMIC fouls on the idle control bit hanging off the manifold.

Usual way to do it is to weld a blanking plate on the BOV section and make a new pipe underneath for your GC8 BOV to connect up to.
