Yeh, dont ever forget that they are a pack of cnuts.

Anything you have a query about write it into the contract clearly. Prob get a rex checked over by a workshop rather than RAC.

Best of luck with purchase.

Just be hard and straight to the point when negotiating price . Near the end of month is always good they need to make they're quota for the month !!!!

Get it checked by a specialist workshop. Once you have it drive it stock for 2 months (i know you must resist) to ensure any nasties that do pop up can be covered by warranty, once its sweet mod away.

getting a good deal

i haven't paid more than 80% of the asking price for any car i've bought in the last decade, i use this as a rule now

don't look to keen.

don't keep going back to look at the same car (it's like blood in the water with sharks)

be prepared to make your offer in writting then and there (do not make verbal offers)

put every last little thing you want them to do as a condition on the written offer (remember this is a contract)

don't go looking at cars with chicks, sales guys become even bigger tools when chicks are present

So if i decide not to get this 3 year warrenty, do i still get like small one ? for a few months or something ? or what ?

its going for $26,990
plus $540 stamp duty.
plus $40 change ownership

and 3 warrenty on top of that is $895.

he said hes trying to get the boss to throw the warrenty in for free...but im not gonna pay 26,990 so i dont think ill be gettin it free anymore....i dont want it anyhow.

remember you are doing them a favour in buying the car, as that car is a liability on their books and the longer it dosent sell its costing them money, so know your product and what are prepared to pay and tell them, if they wont do the deal, them leave your a number so they can contact you, if they are prepare to do the deal and make inclusive of all costs, if trading a car, make the deal a lump sum change over all inclusive of all cost, thats the deal baby take it or leave it, as theres more shark around to deal with and dont waste my time on piss weak offers, so get out and screw them, better going low as you have room to move plus your testing the water temperature to see if they will play ball....
