Who told you the tune was shit? Can't wait for the whinge in your driveway thread in a few weeks because your brother fuk'd with the tune and now you have to pay for another motor.

bwahahhahaah that last comment is all sorts of win!

My brother has been tuning his and plenty of his mates cars for years. Never had any issues. He tuned mine near the start of this year and it's been running fine since then. AFR's are spot on. Not to mention fuel economy has improved drastically.

And lol why, because I admit I whinge? I've been told it enough times to accept it :P

Sean's tune on my car was spot on, and I'm loving life...

Maybe, (just maybe) get another workshop to retune, rather than your brother. Might cost you $400, which is an arseload cheaper than a new engine....

You obviously didn't trust him enough to tune it before, otherwise you would t have shelled out the cash to ASG to tune it. Why trust him now?

To be honest, I never had much to do with my brother before it went to ASG. It was only after my car issues that he started helping. I'd only see him at mum's family dinners every now and then lol.

Anyway sorry to go off topic. I'm done now, had my worthless say

I meant it's been running fine since my bro changed some of the tune, as in he hasn't fucked anything up. My original engine needed replacing due to the big end bearings. That had nothing to do with my bro, it was just old.

I have an innovate motorsports digital wideband afr gauge plugged directly into the o2 sensor, which is also plugged into my pfc datalogit which he plugs his laptop into to tune. So he can monitor/log everything on his laptop, and I can monitor the AFRs from the gauge

And the AFR's don't run lean. I monitor them everytime I drive, as I can't afford another engine lol

So he is running the wideband sensor off the standard o2 sensor? Whatttt????

I think what you have said is pretty defamatory. I have had 2 cars tuned by sean a few times and they have always been great tunes. He never tunes lean either. Always on the rich side as sometimes bad batches of fuel pop up.

No, it's a brand new o2 sensor supplied from innovate motorsports.

And as I said, I'm probably just the exception, I was just sharing my bad experience.
