Going by that logic a turbo one will have ~300hp and around 1200kg...............giddy up!!

Lotuses weigh in around 750kg for the earlier Elises (900 on later models) through to around 900kg for the Exige (which has more power anyway). Power is around the 200 mark. Lotus are on another level for weight; creature comforts are fairly minimal.

Hmmm, that certainly makes things a bit more interesting. Still, I remember the lotus's biggest criticism was always for being underpowered.

I'm keen as mustard to see more details though. If there is room under the bonnet for a 207 + vf34 combo with an intercooler stuck somewhere these would be an absolute weapon!

I dont mind the new look, would buy that for 25k used new daily.

$25k US will more likely be $70k AUS...

I'm pretty sure I remember reading that the FT-86 will sell for around 30k, so there should be no reason for the BRZ to cost any more? either way I'll definitely be replacing the GC8 with one of these.
