*glass is always half full view* im sure the brz will be better than the 86.

*real view* i believe, from the side stepping and dodging the answer its either, he's has been forced into having it or he doesnt want it because it lacks awd.

Fuckin dicks.
If they fuck this the wrx had better be fucking amazing.

The other thing to remember with Toyota is there are a hell of a lot more dealers if you are regional. Will be interesting to see what fleet discount they put on it. Subaru's fleet program is rubbish so i would suggest those wanting to salary sacrifice one will be steered towards the toyota by their fleet companies.

I'll flick an email to the fleet guy we deal with and see wht the wait list is like.

I have always been a masive subaru fan but unless the cars were significantly different (read sti version with a twin scroll turbo) then i would not be willing to pay a big premium. Everyone is going to end up with a mix of parts on their cars anyways. If sti bought out a great rear wing people will put it on their toyota's anyways.

Guy at my work just told me he is one of the lucky few to pre-order the FT86... called shotgun before he finished the sentence.

Cost him a cool $40,000

Now if only Subi get their act together and bring it over here!

Why is your mate paying more than RRP?

Differences for the BRZ are meant to be stiffer front suspension and a slightly different nose cone.

Given the 'lack' of Subaru BRZ's around (250 per month for the Toyota, 201 for 6 months for the Subaru) I have a gut feeling they will flop if priced higher.

I am not 100% on that? thats what Toyota "projected" as the cost...

Yeah, they are a going to be moving slowly. The Mazda MPS only shifts about 70 per month... but for the $40,000 a MPS is a bargain :P

I have read a few reviews and they all say "it lacks power", "it needs more power" and/or "the chassis delivered on this car is secound to none in its market... but the engine doesn't do it justice".
