Check your fire extinguishers. If they need tagging get your sexetary to call protector or eversafe to check them.

Free tagging :D

It's amazing how many offices just install extinguishers and never touch them again.

I had a complete safety audit a few months ago where your complete mindset changes to picking up on niggly little things. Once I got home I couldn't sto checking things like extinguishers, trips hazards, electrical tagging, etc etc. Walking through a woolies I noticed every single fire extinguisher was well and truly out of date and most gauges were even showing them as empty.

Brought it up with the check out kid who told the supervisor. 3 months later and they are all still the same.

Back on topic, depending who your track day is with it might not even matter. I asked no limits about it and they said they are more concerned that the gauge reads it as full than it being tagged in date.

I dont know if it is all events but they made us have a total of 2.4 kg's in the car the other day. They said it was a new rule and that 2 x 1kg extinguishers was not enough anymore.

[QUOTE=Saint_23;632074]I used Eversafe Fire Protection in Maddington. I just walked in with my two 1kg extinguishers
and they tagged one for me and the replaced the other with a serviced extinguisher as it was
way out of date. $25.

Take Cash.

Yep, I take mine to Eversafe, 1kg test and tag costs me $5.00 (and yes they do take cash). They have always done it "while u wait", about 10 minutes.
