Fire Extinguisher Tagging

Hi,

Does anyone of a place around the Canningvale area that does tagging?

Apparently Fire Stations don't do it and i've found a couple places on google but they are a bit far away....

Thanks.

I know for a fact that Protector fire systems in Malaga do tagging.
Local to you maybe call a few mining/safety shops?

Honestly, just purchase a new tagged extingusher.
Alot of the conpanies wont tag 1 smaller than a kg as it you can buy a new one for less than what it will cost to tag it.

I used Eversafe Fire Protection in Maddington. I just walked in with my two 1kg extinguishers
and they tagged one for me and the replaced the other with a serviced extinguisher as it was
way out of date. $25.

Take Cash.

From Octobers CAMS Board Brief

BOARD BRIEF
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING (No. 247)
The CAMS Board convened a meeting via telephone conference on Thursday, 20 October 2011 at 19:30 (AEDT).

STATE COUNCIL STANDING ORDERS
After consultation with the State Councils and an extensive review of the document, the Board approved an updated version of the State Council Standing Orders.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER MAINTENANCE AND MOUNTING
The Board approved the clarification of requirements for servicing fire extinguishers as part of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport, Schedule H:

For hand held extinguishers the AS1851 maintenance standard sits alongside AS1841, the standard for the extinguisher itself, and due to the motor sport environment such extinguishers are required to be serviced every three years. FIA homologated systems require servicing every two years;
The mounting requirements for plumbed-in fire extinguisher systems, which are FIA homologated, will have the FIA requirements regarding fitment applied.
These changes will be implemented from 1 January 2012.

Not sure if this means tagging, which is a form of servicing will only need to done every 3 years? Any scrutineers here? Philbo?
