I had my FMIC and clutch installed today and the folks at the garage neglected to tell me they needed to removed my battery.

Now even when they key in the code, They can't start the engine.

Is there anyway I can avoid paying the ridiculous $120 ? just to get it towed ($70) and retrieval of code ($50?) ?

ring meville subaru, I think they can give you a master code from memory. I'm sure the other guys here will correct me if I'm wrong but you need the master code now.

My battery was disconnected for quite some time and the car could be started with the original PIN. Weird.

in some rare cases, the master code is the same as the factory pin

Gave them a ring and the guy said I have to contact Subaru Osborne Park since I purchased the car from them.

I'm still waiting for Craig at osborne park to call. God damn brant ..... Gotta pray hard they give me the master code otherwise I'm screwed.
