Default Anybody running 2.2??

Hi guys, is anyone running a hks 2.2 stroker kit in their sti. I can get an engine complete with hks 2.2 stroker kit. Has documents to show its been built by jun Japan. I'd be running it with a greddy t518z. Just lookin for info on power gain and torque. Don't fancy goin through the hassle if I'll only get an extra 40hp

Its a complete built engine, apart from knowing its history why would it be any more of a hassle?

Age old saying - heads make the power, bottom end holds it together. Way more to making power that just more space, that said more capacity is never a bad thing if done properly. Do you have exact specs and know the history of the engine?

Depends - what is the alternative?

2.2 > 2.0 > 2.5

I would say a noticeable gain.

This isn't the HKS 2.2 kit but it's still a good read.

Why would JUN assemble a HKS stroker kit when they make their own? the mind boggles
V3 RA likes this.
