Well, i guess im the exception to the rule...
Dealt with the service manager personally at city subaru for 2 services now (one major service) and i was quite pleased. The guy rang me twice to talk to me about my car, what was going on, what they were doing exactly and the extent and history of some of the mods. They were polite and careful, and sounded quite thorough with my car. Slight fuckup with the cleaning product they used in their auto carwash (it screwed the polished surface on my rims) so they had my rims re-polished professionally and changed the chemical they used in their machine. Maybe things have changed in 2-3 months?
oh no....it hasnt changed lol.....my car only come out of there bout 4-5 weeks ago.....if that......and yes they rang me alot telling me wat has happend and keeping me updated as well.......they seem nice yea but i was shocked when they said i need a new engine lol.... |
i dun like dealerships. I went to every single dealership trying to get it on warranty. But none of em could tell me what boost a 99 sti ran at. All took a guess. City subaru was worst. 8-10 psi on an sti. i then asked wat it is on a wrx. Oh 4-6 psi. peel was the only one who said the same as mms and rms. 17-18 psi. But even then the "i think" comment came out.

I was speaking to a guy at subaru head office called damian today, he seemed to think that subaru would be interested in genuine issues people have had with dealerships.
http://subaru.com.au/feedback/contact.asp I will be letting them know about the trouble I have had with city subaru. Just thought Id let you guys know, that someone actually gives a shit. Cheers |
yet another happy camper at ozzy park subaru.

As opposed to whinge, the service I got from the parts section of regents yesterday was brilliant!
Guy went out of his way to make sure I got what I wanted, and was pleasant and professional the entire way. Will definitely be going back in the future. Just sucks the part I bought doesnt solve my issue :( The other two dealers I went to beforehand on the other hand... |
Yeh well I was really happy with City Subaru! They sold me the STi at an awesome price and the Scott was easiest car salesman I have delt with! Only got the car serviced there once and was happy.
But honestly you dont take a modded car to a car dealer in the first place!!!! They didnt have a clue why a simple 3" zorst from turbo back was causing so much trouble with my ECU. Take it to the Pro's everytime is a quick lesson I learnt! Oh yeah and never take your Rex to APC to get an exhaust coz they have even less a a fukn idea! |
