Also for future reference, from what I've heard and seen (I'm not an expert or a lawyer by any means) if there's another car in the photo frame, you can usually get off the speeding fine under the grounds that the camera can't distinguish wether it is you or them

Sorry mate but that not true. The technology is unfortunately better than that. Can you imagine how much of a cluster fuck that would be for all the innocents on the Freeways? Just not viable.

Same for the fixed red light at traffic lights.

The only loophole is around your number plate not being in the square.

I've seen cases where people have disputed and won based on another car in the frame of the photo, think it might also depend on the type of camera ( LIDAR VS multinova) but I'm not an expert, my tactic is to simply avoid cameras at all costs

Default SPOTTED: v2.0. Seen a Perth-WRX Member, post it here

I do also remember seeing something about the po po used to have issues with the trains on the freeway setting off the cameras and nailing random people.
Gonna assume that was quite a long time ago back when they were more basic cameras

It does depend on the camera. The new ployscan (not sure on spelling) can seperat 3 cars at once and issue them with or with out tickets. I tried to get off a ticketwhere you could only just see my number plate rest of my car was behind another car. Still had to pay.
