I'd suggest if the issue doesn't come immediately back it'll simply be heat related.

If you clear the CEL, it's not clearing the record of the code though? .. So i thought anyways.

Probably not but don't know exactly.

Further, EJ motors have issues with heat soak and angle sensor issues.

If it came back up straight away after clearing, id take it to the dealer. The dealer would probably have done the same thing, or, replaced something and slugged me for it. I've been for a longer drive and fed it a bit, seems ok.

If it comes back up, i'll leave it up and take it to the nearest dealer.
