OBD2 scan tool
Hey,
I have a check engine light up on my 07 Subaru Liberty GT which came up yesterday. Car drives fine, no problems. Before I drive back to the stealership to get it checked for $100, would anyone have a Subaru compatible OBD2 scan tool I could swing past and check how sinister the code is? Im Fremantle way but don't mind driving as the stealership is ages away. Thanks for your time! |

If he can't, I'm based in Canning Vale and would be able to help if needed. |

Thanks heaps for all the offers guys, super quick response!
Steve-Lang came over had a look, "Camshaft position timing over advance or system performance" It reset and has not come back yet after a short drive, if it does it's straight back to the dealer. Only had the car for a week :( Thanks for your time! |
Glad to hear that Steve was able to help you out!
Also great to see a few others happy to help out :) |
If you have only had it for a week wouldnt it be best to log that fault with the dealership you bought it from?

Gotta drive though, so many first world problems.
Had that been mentioned in the first post I would have said dont clear, take it back for review. |
