Correct. ADM have single rears, same as the WRX.
Version 6 RA has 2 pots.
My bad. Too many drugs.

Alright guys have purchased ver 6 sti number 325. Want to get a decent turbo back exhaust. Who in Perth should I go to?

VUSSUTE 10-03-2013 06:43 PM

and also should i get an ECUTEK tune once exhaust is fitter. Pardon my lack of knowledge, this is the first japanese/turbo car i have owned. Only owned V8s.
Also where is a good place to get an exhaust fitted and ecu tune done at once.

regards

Seems I have come across some funny business. The car I through deposit down for today has 116k on the clock. But I have just found a advert for it for sale on here from 2008 with 149,000km on clock. Can anyone tell me the history of Sti #325 from 2008 onwards. I checked the car out and it is in great conditions and drives very nice. Just wanna know how many Kim's it actually has

reconus 11-03-2013 08:29 AM

The only person that can tell you would be the person you bought it off.. noone else is going to know how many KM's he/she racked up on it.

Also, you were already told the KM's were deceiving. it should have been something you asked before buying.
The Km's are bullshit, I sold it over 6 years ago with close to, if not more Km's than that!
VUSSUTE 11-03-2013 10:26 AM

yeah i know, this is first time i have bought a car from private sale. I did keep that in mind, but thought he just had it in shed for years (which is what he said) and the car was in good nick. Its all good, im just walking away. Got a good deal on a legit one and checking with subaru and rev's and looks all good.

Saint_23 11-03-2013 10:52 AM

Dont know how accurate this app is, but gave it a go for fun.

Sidestepped the clutch at the limiter on a damp road, thinking it would be better for the box on damp rather than dry. She got some wheelspin (which surprises me on an awd car)

That will be the only one of them she will be seeing

DukeDrifter 15-03-2013 12:02 AM

blacked out ur cars number plate but not urs bikes ?

Nice pick up man, as good as you remember it ? Any mods on it ?

VUSSUTE 15-03-2013 08:11 AM

yeah mate hahah forgot about the bike. Thats my daily driver. Modified busa.

Yeah its got tein fully adjustable suspension, adjustable sway bars front and rear, anti lift kit, hitech stainless turbo back exhaust, haltec computer and tune, intercooler water spray kit. The car was serviced plus or minus 200km on every service interval and also intermediate servicing done every 6000km. Really got lucky with this car.

The only thing wrong with the car is the security keypad is a bit dicky. One of the buttons do not respond to input and you can be there for five min trying to disarm it. So going to get it checked out by a car alarm installer.

Strubaru 15-03-2013 10:16 AM

like i said i dont know how accurate it is, fun none the less. It uses accelerometers (much like a gtech).

busa pics as requested. Waiting on an extended swingarm to come from the states, extended 8"s. I know it will effect the handling, but busa's were never going to keep up with 1000s and 600s around the bends anyway.

hahaha nah its not for sale. It was engine powered. Im using it for parts for another project im doing.

VUSSUTE 15-03-2013 01:34 PM

i did a run at the plex with that iphone app in my car before i bought the cruze and the app said 12.18 @ 116mph actual time was 12.23 @ 115. So it was pretty close on that run but its easily effected by bumps and movement of the phone itself. If its securely mounted and level it can be just as accurate as a gtech from what i have read on the internet.

On the STi run it was just placed on the seat and it did slide a bit on launch. I think it may be a little optimistic considering the car and mods. Im not sure. Will a 2000 STi with a TBE computer and tune run 12.4s... im new to these cars.

I attempted to use the app on the bike lol, but on hard launches the bike doesnt stay horizontal lol. I did 8.9 @ 151mph hahha i would LOVE to run that time on the bike. lol unfortunatly launching bikes like the busa hard is a very very hard talent to acquire.

VUSSUTE 15-03-2013 09:14 PM

is it just me, or does everyone that owns a wrx hassled at lights for a drag race from old women to p plater teenagers???? Cannot go get a milk without at least 1 or 2 offers???

Avalanche 16-03-2013 02:30 AM
