the name sounds a bit crap though

i'm a big fan of the evo, the gtr, etc. but i agree with the majority. if you're gonna call it rexpo, it should be rex's....
if you want to include other makes (which i think is more than okay), then it should be something else... a new car club maybe??? AFARCC has 6 cyls aswell which kinda defeats the purpose of the club name, but atleast they are open to other ppl aswell....
hmmm.. i can think of so many different types of club names, but all would offend atleast one group of people... it's just easier to let ppl be (sometimes) unjustifiably one-sided and opinionative about their make of car.

Don't want to get off topic but in regards to AFARCC it should be noted that 99% of members with 6 cylinder powered cars were previously members with 4 cylinder or rotary vehicles - the clubs been around for over 10 years so they are not about to kick people out just because they want to upgrade to a car with more cylinders..... Yes AFARCC will generally allow someone with a 6 to join (but there are very few of these new members in the club in reality) but the car must be a performance Jap 6.... on Oz or yank iron allowed.

Ah....... donno anything bout REXPO but if it's only for rex's does that exclude Legacys. R/S's, Leone's & Liberty's with rex motors etc. And if it's for all Subi's shouldnt it be called SEXPO or SUBPOo

I think there's also the factor of Subaru Ossy Park being a sponser of the event and maybe not being too keen on promoting an event that has there main arch rivals also involved.

yeah keep it pure if thats the general consensus, i dont mind seeing any AWD turbo's floating around but rexpo is a performance suby event so keep it that way!
