Why are you comparing a 5 year old (old model) highly modified car to a brand new one? (don't get me wrong, that 08 is a beast, and an awesome car)
The better question would be why would you buy the RS40 over say a very low KM still under warranty current model STI when they are the same price. 2011 Subaru Impreza G3 WRX STi MY11 All Wheel Drive No doubt they will still sell all 300 of them though. The car just sell's itself. People looking to buy a new WRX would be easily convinced to drop an extra few K for a "special edition"
Yeah it was intended as 'tounge in cheek'. But a good point made, I also purchased my Betty with similar age/km's for $20k below sticker price and still under new warranty. I drove a new WRX then my STI and thought 'get the fuck out of here' there's 2k difference between them - no brainer I bought the STI. |
New WRX will be ugly as sin - they always are.
By the time the 2017 one comes around we will love it though |
Sounds like them getting rid of a few things out of the factory and marking the price up to make it limited edition before releasing the new WRX model...
Always happens. Always works. If i was in the market now, I would wait for the new one...
is yours a 00, custard......... sucker |
