RS40 wrx

Saw this little article in the paper today. Anyone signing up for one or even know what extras it will havee over a standard wrx, is it just going to be a re-badged club spec?

Sounds like them getting rid of a few things out of the factory and marking the price up to make it limited edition before releasing the new WRX model...

Always happens. Always works. If i was in the market now, I would wait for the new one...

Faaaark $44.5k could see you in a very clean second hand STI like this, Serbaru's beast. Built to take whatever you can throw at it.

Why are you comparing a 5 year old (old model) highly modified car to a brand new one? (don't get me wrong, that 08 is a beast, and an awesome car)

The better question would be why would you buy the RS40 over say a very low KM still under warranty current model STI when they are the same price.

No doubt they will still sell all 300 of them though. The car just sell's itself. People looking to buy a new WRX would be easily convinced to drop an extra few K for a "special edition"

Ill be waiting to see how awesome or ugly the new wrx is before i make any decisions.

REXXXED 05-08-2013 01:45 PM

Exactly, it's a win win.

The new one might be better - if so then buy it.

The new one might be worse - if so, then buy the old one at runout prices!
