GC8 rear wing mod/permit
Apparantly I meed a mod permit or remove the rear wing. Firstly can this wing be allowed on 1999 wrx and if so, who can write a.permit.

Yes as long as you have a 3rd brake light which is fully functional you wont have any issue or any need for said permit.

Removing the rear wing removes the "high brake light" and thats why its a problem. That wing in the pic will be OK providing it has a brake light that works.
If that is your car in the pics, you will have problems getting it passed with those tinted brake lights btw.

Also if you have a brake light in your rear shelf and one in the spoiler you'll have to remove the one on the shelf as you can't have 2.
