Vht nito paint. I use it, so far so good. Much easier and cheaper than ovwrlay.

If your overlays are bubbling and peeling, they weren't put on properly. Get an expert to do it or simply buy another set and do them again. Far cheaper and takes a whopping hour or two of your time.
Soksta, mitchwnz, JRecardo and 1 others like this.

I learnt a lot doing mine. For example it's easy to take out the whole light when doing the brake lights.. have two people (get your mum to help ).

Spray the whole assembly with detergent and apply the overlay slowly using a card to remove the excess water. Have the other person hold the hair dryer near where you are working.. it should shrink around the light nicely. Doing it by yourself is pretty tricky as you need to hold the hair dryer and remove the water.

Best quote so far was $400 for the taillights and hatch lights.
It's not outrageous but a bit more than I wanted to spend for a small project... Plus that's a lot of overlays

^^ My Car has overlays on it.. they have been on for about 2 years now and haven't shown signs of more bubbles. Just a couple of small ones from when I installed them. You can check them out when you come to hear the exhaust.
