2015 STi
As the name suggests, it's time for a 2015 STi thread.
Here's a link to the leaked photos of the new 2015 STi posted by Troy on PSR's facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/#!/permalink.php?story_fbid=722832914407475&id=107865775904195 I call it the SubEvo! It looks ok, not a fan yet, but I think it will grow on me /us. :) I'm just glad they did a bit of a better job than the WRX. ;) Seems like 2015 will be that gap year again for Subaru where they find their feet again, like when they released the 2008 model then made adjustments in the years that followed to better it. What model will you have the STi GSR or the STi MR :p |
I reckon its going to be a fucking weapon.

Yea could be too... keen to see the first drives, could be better than any other STis!
I was only talking looks above. Hoping Subaru takes it back to Nuremberg with Makkinen to beat his Nurburgring lap in the fastest ever STi (2011) from factory. If they don't means they know something isn't quite right ;) |
Looks a bit generic . . .better than fuggly tho :eusa_thin

Dump it put some crazy offset rims with dish and concave and we'll love it just like the ugly Betty.
Looks like it'll hook from the stats and will take a good amount of boost as well. |

Not very exciting is it.....
|
knew it...give it a year or two for Subaru to make a better car of this model...or wait another 3 years for the next model STi like people did a while back lol
There shall be no Nuremberg record breaking attempt with this barge either... Agree with Steve's comment, not very exciting at all
Subaru WRX STi: full details
|
Same 2.5L as the 2011-2013 sti. At least you know you can make good power from simple bolt ons, and everything should be compatible meaning no waiting on new aftermarket parts hopefully. That and a stiffer body should make it a decent package. I dont know why everyone is so quick to hate, its a pretty limited spec to be judging from.

I like the torque vectoring idea, shame it's only to the front wheels though, I thought it would have been to the rears :-/
