Its the 3" as well. Prolly the hard driving I did on Sunday has "loosened" it up

I'm getting Alex @ RMS to do some other stuff for me soon, so I'll get him to have a look.

Cheers for the replies, good (well not good, but puts the mind to ease) that I am not alone with this problem.

Are you sure it's the dump pipe and not the heat shield on the up pipe.
My MY02 up pipe heat shield came loose and jammed the steering in an autokhana in Classic Rally a few years ago...scary..... it is not an uncommon problem when an aftermarket exhaust is fitted. The up pipe heat shield attaches to a shield on the OE exhaust, which is removed when an aftermarket is fitted. After a while the remaining up pipe shield mounts can crack and break loose. Easy fix....just re-weld from underneath. MMS (and I presume RMS) now put a few welds to further secure the heat shield when putting a 3" system on.

If it's the down pipe fouling then either it's too big or poorly designed.
Get Speedworks to fix it.

I would guess Poor design. I have checked out the Xforce dump pipe before and it's not a product I would ever recommend.

Get SW to fix it imo.
