Hi thanks for all the response. I have about a 50 litre tank and start my odometer when I fuel up and get about 330kms. I believe this to be very low?? Either my car is running very rich cos I don't think it should be going this quick? I am also not driving it hard or fast just now and then.

I get 300ish for about 50l - 3" turbo back exhaust, slightly upgraded intercooler and slightly increased boost. Mine needs a tune..so I would say so does yours...I drive to jurien bay in mine and I used just over half tank that's about 3/3.5 hours away so I as long as your tank is full to go and on the return trip you should be fine.

WhiteRX 10-04-2014 11:30 PM

I get about 14l 100km. The most i have ever got out of 50l was about 400km but i average 320-350 per tank.

I don't really mind howmuch fuel i use, but different drivers can get different fuel consumption in the same car. The mrs manual magna. She gets 10.5 in the city. On the odd occasion where i drive it for a week or so the best i could get was 12. Same car different driver.

Oh man.

Next time you fill up, record how many kms you travelled and how many litres went in to fill it up. Then work out your L/100.

Formula:

litres divided by kms times 100.

IE: 40L / 340km = 0.1176 x 100 = 11.76L/100kms.

Isn't the fuel tank 60 litres on 06 WRXs?

Ford Focus RS MkII...standard engine (305 BHP/225 KW):
Country - 9.9 L/100
City - 10.4 L/100
Only reason why I'm asking cos my mate has got an evo and he reakons he is getting over 400kms for the same tank give or take. I am driving my car to race wars this weekend so don't want to run out seeing as though I am on 98 octane however I will be bringing a Gerry can :)

You realise the car you have and the one your mate has are different right? It's as absurd as me being confused that my WRX is not as economical to drive as my Barina.
Hi all,

I was just wondering what everyone is getting out of their tank for fuel. I currently have a 2006 wrx and I am getting about 330kms to a tank and have the vf34 turbo upgrade and an exhaust system. If you could please comment below to see what everyone else is getting that would be cool thanks.

Sticks
You have an exhaust, turbo and no tune, a decent amount of the fuel you buy is exiting said exhaust in the same state that you bought it.

When I had my 06 with similiar mods I got 11L/100km.

Yours seem quite bad unless you have a heavy right foot.

I have an idea that might help. Thinking of cleaning the Maff sensor you think that might make a difference?

Oxygen sensor.

P.s I get 460km per tank mixed cruise/booting/traffic over a normal week or 550km doing a run down south.

I run P100.
