Default Engine Bay Tidy up.......

i am currently in the process of changing all my hoses to silicone and also running a silicone intake... its already looking good also paiting some of the pully covers...

just a question is all these vacuum hoses still needed if i am going to be running a aftermarket ECU (POWERFC) ???.... also i am goin to be runnin a Blitz SDBC being a boost controller is this now fine for me to disconnect the stock boost solonoid?

is there any other tricks to doin up the engine bay and reducing the ammount of "rubbish" in there

also the radiator i have seen many people have covers or some sorta steel plate on the top off it whats the best looking one and where to get it from???

yours sincerely
mark

- Relocate the battery to the boot.
- Pay to get hidden wiring but that's expensive?
- Braided hoses
- B4 engine cover perhaps?

yeah like josh sed barided hoses look the treat.

Also could look at like a airbox cover, i have a carbon one, looks mint. Like you sed with the radiator n stuff, you could chrome the top part, chrome anything else you can, oil catch tanks can make the engine bay look good. Your on the right track with silicone pipes as well.

relocating your batterey what does that involve is it as simple as saying that there has to be a battery cradle plus the positive and negative running to the boot or is there more to the sitaution because i rang another place other then RMS and they quoted $200 compared to $400 from RMS... there must be somethin different there

The place that charges $200 do they include the box? Find out what you're exactly getting for your money.
